Please bear with me as this is my first attempt at blogging. Here is a little bit about myself: I am married to my best friend and high school sweetheart! I honestly don’t know what I would do without him. We have two wonderful little boys that make everyday worth living! Together we have started this photography business as a way to turn something we love into a source of income to pay the bills.  If bills didn’t exist, we would still do what we do for any and everyone possible with no charge! (Maybe one day we can still do that . . . if we win the lottery or something.)

Family is one of the most important things in our life, and we strive everyday to not take a single moment for granted.

Well, here’s our story:

My husband and I recently moved back home with our two boys (3 yrs and 10 mos). His migraines grew progressively worse until he was no longer able to work. Since moving, he hasn’t had near as many headaches (From up to three a day everyday to one or two a month).

In addition to less migraines this move has been so beneficial to our family. Our kids are much happier. They’re no longer trapped inside of a small apartment unable to explore outside because the complex doesn’t have a yard or play area for children. Now they’re able to play in the yard; we can walk to the park; and we walk down to see their grandparents, Nanny and Pawpaw, everyday!

I have realized that we were trying to live life at the speed of society. The problem is life isn’t meant to be rushed through. It’s meant to be lived, savored from moment to moment.

I am now able to have the photography business I’ve always dreamed of, and my husband and I can work together! Yes bills are still there and demanding, but I no longer feel the pressure I felt in the city. I know we will make it, and stressing won’t make that happen any faster.

We have also started going to our home church again, something we haven’t done since we graduated high school. The feeling of having a support system, friends, and family is one of extreme relief and gratitude.

So my message to you all today is don’t stress, slow  down, and enjoy the little moments! Those moments are what makes life worth living. If you find a passion, something you love and would do for free, that’s your calling – Do It! Everything else will fall into place.

Thank you so much for visiting our page and reading. Hopefully I can keep this up and will have more for you later.
